TMGA – Terminales Marítimos de Galicia has unloaded 5.000 tons of salt in the Outer Port of A Coruña: Punta Langosteira. The salt will be used to deal with the frosts that are occurring in the north of Spain in recent days.
The salt arrived at Punta Langosteira aboard the ship Manuela E. from salt flats in southern Spain and they will be dedicated to maintaining the roads in Galicia, Asturias and Castilla y León.
Next week another vessel with similar characteristics is expected to total the discharge of 10,000 tons.
